Google announced today a few things about it’s forthcoming open source OS : Chrome OS.
Chrome OS is Linux based (Debian) and ment to be above all the instant on OS. 7 seconds boot time, which meaning that you’ll never have to wait again for ages until the OS allows you to use your PC. This is a nice promise, to be verified though. Anything booting from an hard drive takes tiiiime. So…

Rumors rumors… this one is about Apple to kill Atom processors support with the next OSX 10.6.2 release. This would mean that your sweet little netbook running a hacked version of OSX wouldn’t survive after the update.

Today Show : Windows 7 Launch on a Macbook Pro !

Another nice Windows 7 launch party took place live on the set of MSNBC’s Today Show. Check the upper right corner of the image, you’ll see what appears to be an old version of a Macbook Pro, with the Windows 7 logo !
