Yes, his name is Branson, Sir Richard Branson for the intimates. And believe it or no this guys is about to make History.

Throwing man on the Moon, or in the foreseeable future man on Mars, is a State job. Maybe international, and carried with large public funds and la crème of R&D.

Making space a product, for you and me, is in fact where it all begins. And this will be a premiere for sure. Of course, you will hate the first customers who can afford early premium packages to enjoy a few minutes of space. Especially those frequent space flyers, believe me. Including the training, you can consider the ticket to be over $0.5 M.

But even with a bit of training, sending “ordinary” people in orbit isn’t an easy job. Technically, this is close to happen, no doubt (check the video for details). Concerns will come when Virgin Galactic will deliver one or two crashes. Spectacular ones mega commented live on all media, especially online. And you know this will happen because, like it or not, efficiency comes from failures. Then the question will be : Is space safe ? In others words : Is space a market ? Yep my friend, that’s exactly where space adventures begin. Close to one single word : trust.

The guy who will deliver that space trust, will become an instant legend, and attract to him one of the hugest canyons of money ever seen. The rest will then be peace of cake and mostly marketing.

So now, yes, Branson is about to give it a try. And only for that little reason, the man is admirable. Think he could have simply launched another John Doe company (Virgin Pizza, Virgin T-Shirts, or even greater Virgin Search Ads …). No, he picked Virgin Galactic. How many are there in business to see that far away and accept such an amount of personal risk ?

Ok now in such a case why he is doing that ?

Well. First it’s because he can afford it. When you have no limit, you have no limit. As simple as that. Second is because every man wants to live forever in a way. And as we’re all final dust, only our acts can remain within minds and Google . And three, the core reason I believe, it’s because of genetics. A matter of DNA mechanics and mutations. Branson reached this very moment of his life because he can’t help doing it any other way. He’s a mutant !
