According to secret sources from the Wall Street Journal, Google could be close to launch a Dropbox / iCloud clone of its own.
With larger storage space for free (mean Dropbox only offers 2Gb for free), and lower prices for larger spaces (remember, as an ad company, they can monetize fast with contextual ads).
Google could really be the itching powder in this cloud storage market. Besides they already operate cloud services via Google Docs: the customer base ramp-up could be superfast.
Apple has cash enough to run iCloud even for free for centuries.
But how long Dropbox can survive with Google jumping in the game?
