The International Opera experience on speed brings something new and unexpected to our minds: neutrinos (elementary matter particles) could move faster than the speed of light.
Based on Einstein system, that is simply not possible. And if it is, hasta la vista to all our beliefs.
As we’re saying here, today’s dogma will be considered an error in the future. That’s for sure.
But such a discovery is whether the hoax of the century or the breakthrough of the millennium.
The experiment is quite “simple”. Scientists throw a beam of neutrinos in specific conditions and distance and they measure the particles speed at the arrival. And after thousands of trials, they keep measuring faster neutrinos than the speed of light (6 km/s faster precisely).
Such a statement, if proved to be true, would mean Einstein’s theory is not an absolute object, but only a partial description of a greater system.
For the time being, all experiences will be renewed during the next three years to find out the truth.
