Yooo ! What the heck is going on with Apple’s next touch thing ? Long discussed, now expected from next September till Xmas, the Apple tablet is THE new thing. Last gossip says it will be the flagship gadget to spread the new Apple strategy in desire to rocket albums sales. How ? By user experience enhancement. Touch + bigger screen = rich media albums with loads of goodies to enjoy, and for sure, more cash to collect.
Question is are people in need of this item ? I mean, if your pocket has the 800$ or so Apple will charge you for it, do you still think you’ll need it ?
Answer 1 : people lived for millenniums before the iPhone hit shelves. So for sure, nobody needs an extra tablet. Especially knowing the cruel failure of UMPCs.
Answer 2 : 21st century people are usability + emotions driven. Apple is more or less alone when addressing those 2 niches in the tech field. So you still won’t need it. But boy, you’ll want it ! :-)
