So, Dell goes mobile now ? And in China with China Mobile ? Dell seems really resilient considering his past market crashes with PDA gadgets. Will he be a market maker now in (asian) mobile business ? The ‘thing’ is an Androïd based item (with no 3G or Wi-Fi) intended to address price concerns of still (despite huge) emerging chinese customer base. The 3.5 inch touchscreen and 3 megapixel camera are also here to remind us that the 3i has also an iPhone-like personality. But cheaper one.
Big gun questions :
Is the mobile market in need of an extra player, be it Dell ?
Is Dell in such a big rush to diversify that he can’t still contemplate the smartphone margins fly away from his bottom line ?
Will creativity knock-knock one day again to Dell’s door ?
Life is sometimes so unfair ! :-)
