Google is said to deploy a new optimized algorithm to downgrade ranking of so called content farm websites. In search of quality content, Google is about to impact over 11% of the rankings. Some will benefit from it, some will die.
1) Now what is “quality” content ?
From maths point of view, it can only be “original” content : the one that is first generated then rephrased or linked by others. maths can’t check yet poetry you know.
This means a reward for scoops = a reward for those who can pay to have it. Here “quality” means professional content.
2) What about net neutrality ?
Can someone decide what the Internet content must look like ? A centralised someone ? In such a case, The Internet content is the result of a censorship, far from democracy. And that’s what we’re about to enjoy.
