A machine built by IBM and called “Watson”, after the company founder, won a Jeopardy game against humans. This one is a good and bad new. A good because we can now build machines that can surpass our natural performances. The bad one is we did it.
More or less we’re living now in that world where the dominant mind – ours – may not be the dominant one in the near future.
By the way, is that a problem ? Hum… depends for whom indeed. ;-)
