As you know, Apple revealed the brand new iTunes 10 Logo yesterday. A good thing is they removed the CD icon from it as of course it dosen’t make any sense to keep it.
But I guess Steve missed a chance to do it even better.
For example why still name it iTUNES (and thus keep a musical note in the logo)?
Can’t you find almost any digital media in there ? Music is not the only one now. This 10th version could have been the chance to revamp the name to better installment for the future. But Apple guys decided to capitalize from the past.
And it’s a choice, because you know how strongly they can change something when they want (not going into details but remember Mac processors, iPhone OS name, even the company name…). No, it’s just because Steve just thinks it’s not right, or… didn’t had the idea. ;-)
